Rudolph Nails

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows"

For this christmas mani I used Really Red, Blanc and Licorice all by Essie.

For Rudolph's red shiny nose I placed a tiny red glitter.

I toped it all with Essie's Gel Setter Top Coat.

Back to School already???

Definitely time flies! I want summer back!
Although my kids are now both on school and I have some fabulous free time on my hands and it's like the first time ever I have so many hours to myself! And you know what that means, right??
Yep, you got it! More time to paint my nails!

I have to admit I almost burst into tears when I left my lil girl!  Only 3 years old and already in Pre-k.😢
But!!! She is so happy to be on school, she didn't cry or anything like that, in fact I had to stay a few minutes longer and she came to me and asked "Mom when are you leaving?"
lol
So that made this whole new experience much better.

For this mani I used Licorice by Essie as my base color and made the doodles with Blanc.  To finish it all and make it look like a chalkboard I applied a matte top coat (Matte About You) also by Essie

"You are my sunshine my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray.
you'll never know dear how much I love you.  Please don't take my sunshine away"

Isn't this a wonderful song?  I sing it to my kids a regularly, even though the original version is really sad, but let's not talk about that!

For this bright and happy mani I used Pimms by Butter London

All the details and lettering were freehand using Onix by Bettina Cosmetics

Elephant Nail Art

Hello Guys!

Recently we rescued and adopted the cutest little kitten ever! I've never had a cat before and it has been an amazing experience.  We named him Elefante 🐘 which means Elephant in Spanish. He is so loving, sweet and loves to cuddle and obviously I had to make some nails dedicated to my new baby.

As my base color I used Lux by Marc Jacobs and made some polka dots with a pale yellow on top of it.

I used First Timer by Essie and Super Star by Pure Ice for the little elephant and the cloudy stripes.

Here's me and my baby Elefante 🐘

Stripes & Ice Cream

Who's ready for summer?
I know I am! I'm soooo tired of getting up early to take my kid to school that I'm just ready to be able to sleep at least one or two more hours.

Also looking forward to make road trips and excursions and going to the pool and the beach!
ugh can't wait for summer to be here already...just a couple of weeks more!

I have to say that I'm super in love with the formula of this polish by Picture Polish.  It is absolutely perfect! and the color!! I love how it is not blue nor green, it is like perfectly in between.

How to do lettering on nails!

Hello guys! As you may have notice lately I'm a bit obsessed with freehand calligraphy and lettering and I love incorporating it on my nails! Today I will show you the way I do it using the simple principles of faux calligraphy.

The first thing you do to master faux calligraphy is to write the word as you want it to be.

Then the magic trick is that every down stroke should be thicker than the ones going up.

So you just make them thicker!

And voilà!

Now just do the same with nail polish or acrylic paint on your base color.

I used as my base Onix from Bettina Cosmetics http://bettinacosmetics.com and for the lettering I used Hard To Get from Sally Hansen

If you would like to see how I do it on real time just click here to watch my tutorial.

See you soon lovelies,

Negative Space Nail Art

Hello Lovelies! it is so good to be back! My laptop charger was missing like for three weeks and it was driving me crazy that I couldn't turn on my laptop so I wasn't able to be as active as I normally am on my blog or on my YouTube channel.

So my dearest hubby bought me another charger and like a few days after it arrived on the mail I found my original charger!!! Can you guess where it was?
On a drawer of one of my helmers where I store my nail polishes!!!

Weird right?!

But finally here I am again and today I bring you guys a tutorial for these fun and elegant nails.

I used the color Onix by Bettina Cosmetics and the tiny studs I got from Born Pretty Store.
I topped it all with Essie's Gel Setter Top Coat.

For the ring finger I used a single chevron stencil by Vinyl Quickies.

I really hope you like this Nail Art Tutorial and if you would like the world to be a prettier place Share this video or this post with your friends in hopes that everyone can have pretty nails :)
