Hawaiian Nails

"All we need. really, is a change from a near frigid to a tropical attitude of mind"
-Marjory Stoneman Douglas

For this manicure I used Orly's Key Lime Twist, from the Sugar Rush Collection, which is so perfect! It is like a neon light green but you don't need any white base to make the color pop like this. I only applied two light coats and a top coat an voilà! Perfection!

I freehanded the Tiki Head and the Hibiscus flower with a bunch of polishes. At the end of this post is the video tutorial for the flower.
Ther are known in Puerto Rico as Flor de Maga and they are our oficial national flower.
They are also traditionally worn by Tahitian and Hawaiian girls. If the flower is worn behind the left ear, the woman is married or in a relationship.  If it's worn on the right, she is single or openly available for a relationship.

Curious right?

Hope you like these Hawaiian Nails!
